By car, coming E6 from south (Gothenburg) going north (towards Uddevalla):
Turn by the second exit to Stenungsund (do NOT take the first exit to Stenungsund). Follow the road to Stenungsund. In the intersection directly after the railroad tracks turn right to Svanesund/Ferry. Follow the road all the way to the ferry. Take the ferry (no cost). Summertime time it goes all the time, rest of the year every 30 minutes. Drive off the ferry and follow the road to Svanesund. Pass the town centre and follow the road past a school and a ST1 gas station on the left hand side. Continue straight ahead (do NOT turn left to Varekil). After approximately 1 kilometer turn right to Stillingsön. Follow the road a couple of kilometers, until you see a yellow sign on the right hand side that says "Kastet". Out home is on the left hand side of the road opposite the "Kastet" sign, a white house with a red barn in the garden. Drive up to the white houseif the gates to the gravel road and the apartment is not open. Welcome!
